OVF launches 2022 Port Vale player sponsorship – all contributions welcome
Following last season’s hugely popular player sponsorship which saw this website sponsoring the home and away kit of Port Vale goalkeeper Lucas Covolan, we are repeating it for the 2022-23 season.
Entries are £10 and can be made through the button below. Important: please include your email address so we can contact you.

How much do I contribute?
To keep it simple, we are asking for contributions in multiples of £10. You can contribute £10 for one entry or, for example, £30 for three entries. If you donate, for example, £30 you will also have three entries in the sponsorship event raffle.
What is the target?
We intend to raise £600 to sponsor the home and away shirt for a Port Vale player for the 2022 season.
Which player will we sponsor?
We don’t want you to tell us your suggestions yet as some players have already been sponsored. When money is raised, the club will pass on a list of all available players. Anyone who contributed will be asked to vote on who to sponsor with the majority decision final.
To ensure you have a chance of voting please ensure you include a valid and up-to-date email address with your entry.
What do I get for donating?
There is a player sponsorship event at the end of the season. See this link for some photos from last season’s winners
Last season this event included a meet and greet with the manager, watching a training session, meeting the player, a gift and a meal.
We will hold a raffle draw and two entries will be randomly drawn to attend.
Please note – we will attempt to contact winners before the event. If we do not receive a reply within 48 hours, we will move onto a reserve winner. To ensure you have a chance of attending the event please ensure you include a valid and up-to-date email address with your entry.
What happens if you exceed the £600 limit?
The pot fills quickly and we will close it ASAP when the target is reached. If we do go over the target, then those extra entries will be included in the player vote and raffle for the open day, but we will donate the excess money to the Lorne Street stand concourse fundraiser appeal.
What happens if you don’t reach £600?
Providing we raise over £300, we will just sponsor the home shirt. All entries will be included in the player vote and the raffle for the open day event but any excess money will go to the Lorne Street stand concourse fundraiser appeal.
Does all money go to the club?
Yes, absolutely. We are using a system called Collectiv which charges no fees and OVF will provide proof of payment of the full amount to the club.
