Photos show how Port Vale’s stadium has been transformed over the summer
We’ve been sent some “before and after” images of how the Vale Park stadium has been spruced up over the summer.
In addition to improvements carried out by the club, some work has been carried out by the Port Vale volunteers group. Helpfully, some of the paint used in the work was paid for by the VIEW16 supporters group.
Thanks to OVF forum user @dishydave for these images with this website.
The Bycars Stand
The fence cladding behind the stand has been given a new lick of paint…
The main entrance to the Bycars stand has also been spruced up…
The Disabled Stand
Fresh and bright paint work now adorns the disabled stand area…
The Railway Stand
Some repairs to the paintwork inside the Railway stand have been done…
There’s no “before” shot of this but this is the result of revamped paintwork to one of the exits…
The Lorne St stand
Again, no “before” shot but good work on the painting around the President seating area…
The Hamil Road stand
Our final one without a “before” shot this is new paintwork on the away steps..
Outside the ground…
Newly painted legs and new signage on the car park sign…
Some freshly painted metalwork on the main entrance sign…
There’s gleaming new paintwork on this gate…
Well done to the Port Vale volunteers group on their efforts to give Port Vale fans a stadium to be proud of next season.
