This evening we will be showing the entire 90 minutes of Port Vale’s FA Cup replay against Everton which took place in 1996.
About the game
Thanks to goals from Martin Foyle and Ian Bogie, John Rudge’s Port Vale side had managed a highly creditable 2-2 away draw at Goodison Park. It meant the then FA Cup Holders would travel to Burslem for an FA Cup fourth round replay which would take place on Valentine’s Day 1996.
