Port Vale Injury Update – Who’s fit and who’s out of action
As the Valiants injury list continues to pile up, here’s our latest round-up of who’s an injury doubt ahead of Port Vale’s trip to Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Tom Conlon
The Valiants have confirmed that the left-sided midfielder has suffered a ligament injury and will be out of action for four to five weeks.
David Amoo
The forward is set to return to training but is unlikely to feature in the weekend game against Leyton Orient.
Rhys Browne
Like Amoo, the forward is set to miss the Orient game but is set to return to training next week.
Cristian Montano
Another player likely to miss out on Saturday but like Amoo and Browne, he is set to return to training next week.
Manny Oyeleke
The midfielder returned to action as a substitute in the midweek Football League Trophy game against Macclesfield. However, Vale will be wary of bringing him back too soon and he will probably make the bench for Saturday.
Mark Cullen
A new entry on the Vale injury chart, the striker picked up a knock during the win over Macclesfield Town in midweek and is an injury doubt.
Jordan Archer
John Askey sung the praises of Archer after another impressive performance from the bench on Tuesday. The manager said the forward was still feeling some pain in his shoulder but it’s possible that with Cullen a doubt, Archer may find himself starting on Saturday.
