Norman Smurthwaite will put Port Vale into adminstration in May
Smurthwaite administration threat: Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says he will put the club into administration if a deal to sell the Valiants isn’t made by the 5th May.
BBC Radio Stoke reports that Smurthwaite “says he will put the club into administration on May 5 if no new owner is in place. He won’t fund the club past that point. He says no formal offer has ever been made for the football club.”
Synectics Solutions said they had a £3.5m offer for the club turned down several weeks ago and fans have been protesting against Smurthwaite’s ownership of the club.
