Return of key duo give Port Vale boss welcome selection headache
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin will welcome two key defensive players back into the squad to face Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
Aston Villa loanee Mitch Clark and veteran Leon Legge are both set to return and could both make the starting line-up.
Clark has received treatment for an injury at his parent club while Legge has recovered from several epilepsy attacks.
The return of the pair gives Aspin some welcome selection problems at the back after James Gibbons came back into the side in Clark’s absence and impressed.
Aspin now has to select between Legge, Clark, Gibbons, Nathan Smith, Connell Rawlinson and Theo Vassell at the back.
However, Clark and Legge have both been impressive this season and could well force their way straight back into the backline.
