Loan news: Port Vale strikers on target over the weekend
Vale’s on-loan strikers – Dior Angus and Tyrone Barnett – were both on target during the latest round of matches.
Dior Angus
The Vale striker found the target once again as Nuneaton lost 3-1 to Lee Sinnott’s Alfreton side. Angus is now top scorer with seven goals in 21 appearances for the struggling side.
Mike Calveley
The young midfielder also started Nuneaton’s game. In other news, former Vale winger Enoch Andoh has left Nuneaton.
Joe Davis
The defender played ninety minutes as York suffered a poor 3-0 defeat to Altrincham over the weekend. It was the 25 year-old’s second appearance for the club which is managed by former Vale defender Sam Collins.
Tyrone Barnett
The striker was on target three minutes from the end as Cheltenham recorded a welcome 3-0 away victory over Notts County on Saturday. The 33 year-old now has two goals in fifteen appearances for Town.
Rob Lainton
The goalkeeper played the whole ninety minutes as Wrexham drew 1-1 with Maidstone United.
