Forgotten Port Vale winger gives a reminder of what he offers in reserves loss
Port Vale reserves went down to a heavy defeat at Rotherham United on Tuesday but one player did provide one moment of magic.
A strong Valiants line-up including Cristian Montano, Scott Quigley and Sam Hornby lost 4-1 but the one consolation for the Valiants was a brilliant set-piece effort from summer signing Brendon Daniels.
Daniels has made a solitary appearance for Vale’s first-team this season and has also been sent on loan to Altrincham in build his match fitness.
He has been on the bench for Checkatrade Trophy games but his goal on Tuesday could help him push for a place in the senior squad.
The winger will be desperate to show what he can offer – as he is out of contract in the new year after signing a six month contract in the summer.
