Port Vale manager says summer signing can only get better
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin has praised the contribution of midfielder Manny Oyeleke ahead of the game against Exeter City.
Oyeleke was signed in the summer after leaving National League side Aldershot. The energetic central midfielder struggled with injuries earlier in the season but Vale have looked noticeably better since Oyeleke returned to the first-team.
Aspin commented: “With Manny, the fact that we’ve played better when he’s been in the side and we’ve missed him when he’s been out means that he’s adapted well to this level of football.
“I think he can get better – he has a lot of good attributes and as we get more into the season I think he’s only going to get better.”
