Port Vale fans think James Gibbons deserves squad place

67% of fans who voted think defender James Gibbons deserves a place in the Vale squad.

The youngster was left out of the Port Vale squad for the game against Forest Green Rovers.

It was a surprise to many Vale fans, who saw winger Luke Hannant switched to the left-back position. Even if Gibbons was not in form, it was a surprise not to see him on the bench as cover.

OVF asked Vale fans to vote after the decision and 67 of respondants voted that Gibbons was worthy of a place in the squad.
