Key Port Vale player is hoping injury problems are behind him
Port Vale midfielder Manny Oyeleke is hoping for an injury-free rest of the season after an impressive start to his Vale Park career.
Oyeleke had an injury-interrupted start to his Vale career after signing from Aldershot in the summer. He missed a portion of pre-season and then some of Vale’s early games. However, since returning to the midfield, Oyeleke has earned rave reviews.
He told the official Port Vale website: “One of the major things I’ve been quite annoyed about so far this season is that I’ve had a few injuries and I didn’t have a full pre season, came back and got injured again during the season.
“I’m hoping now it’s the end of my injury problems now. I want to hit the ground running and play as many games as I can. I demand a lot from myself as does the gaffer…
“I’m looking to improve every single week, I don’t want to just rest on past performances I want to continue to improve.”
