Port Vale manager Neil Aspin says that the performance against Accrington was not good enough.

The Valiants conceded three second-half goals to lose 3-2 on Saturday.

Aspin commented: “Watching it back, he has put it in with his hand, so it is another decision that has gone against us.

“But I said before the game that I wouldn’t stand here and make excuses after games, and I won’t do that today.

“Our defending in the second half, especially for than ten-minute period wasn’t good enough, and we got punished. We need to do better.”
