Port Vale manager Neil Aspin says the side are still in a battle against relegation after the 3-2 loss to Accrington.
After the match Aspin told the media: “Nothing has changed from when I first came in, we are in a relegation fight and we need to show more fight than we did for that period when I felt they dictated to us.
“I thought for that period we crumbled, that can’t happen if we are to get out of trouble.
“It is a fight because we are not playing well enough to pick up points consistently. We were in a good position at half time and you would expect to get something from the game but we weren’t convincing and there were a lot of things I wasn’t happy with at half time. We have to do better.”
