Could Yeovil match be first senior Port Vale game to witness four substitutions?
An FA rule change means that Port Vale could make up to FOUR substitutions during their FA Cup second round replay with Yeovil.
A rule change has been made by the FA this season that allows an additional substitution to be made during the match.
The change allows teams to make a fourth substitution during the extra time period of any replays in the FA Cup from the first round onwards.
Clubs are limited to the current maximum of three substitutes during normal time with an additional change permitted in extra-time only.
Tonight’s match will be played to a conclusion, with extra time and a penalty shoot-out being used to decide the tie, if the scores are level after ninety minutes.
The winners of the tie will collect £27,000 from the FA Cup Prize Fund, with a home tie against Bradford City due to be played in early January 2018.
