Port Vale winger Jerome Thomas has tweeted to say he has taken part in a full training session ahead of Vale’s vital game with Bristol Rovers.
The winger was embroiled in controversy earlier this month when he appeared to hit back at manager Michael Brown’s apparent criticism of his fitness record. Some fans even misread his tweet mentioning “My last game” (i.e. the last game he appeared in) to mean that he would be leaving the club.
Thomas was left out of the squads for the Gillingham and Millwall games but he has now tweeted to say he has taken part in training and is “ready” for the game against Bristol Rovers.
I've had a good week of strength & fitness work. Joined back in full training today, ready for tomorrow's game. "3 Points Needed" #Pvfc
