Anthony De Freitas injury blow for Port Vale

The Sentinel reports that midfielder Anthony De Freitas will miss up to six weeks of the season.

The French youngster has been a regular under Michael Brown but has suffered a groin strain.

The news means that Brown will need to make changes to his side for the game against Bristol Rovers.

Defender Remie Streete is also expected to be ruled out.
