Kiko achilles injury is not serious says Ribeiro
Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro says that left-back Kiko is suffering from an achilles problem and missed the Nottingham Forest game as a precaution.
The Portuguese left-back was included in Vale’s squad for the Nottingham Forest friendly game but Ribeiro told the official Port Vale website that was merely a precaution.
Ribeiro commented: “Kiko had some problem with his Achilles tendon, but nothing important.
“When I have some players with pain I want to leave them and wait for a few days, like we did with Sam Foley and Ben Purkiss, I want all players at 100%.”
