Double Dutch: medical records delay potential Port Vale transfer

Port Vale’s attempts to sign a defender from a Dutch club are being held up by a delay in translating his medical records, Norman Smurthwaite has tweeted.

Vale are reportedly trying to sign a Dutch-based defender but there is a delay as the Valiants attempt to decipher his medical records from his spell in the Netherlands.

Hopefully, the issue won’t delay the move too long but in a series of tweets, Smurthwaite said:
