Rob Page would love to see Ryan Inniss return to Port Vale

Rob Page says that Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss is a player that could “help us achieve our goals at this club.”

Inniss’ second spell at Vale Park has been disrupted by injuries but Page says he will keep in contact and see is “there is something there that can be done.”

I would love to have him as part of what I want to do at this club in the longer term…

Page told the Sentinel: “He is a strong character. I have had a good conversation with him and we are going to keep in contact. I would love to have him as part of what I want to do at this club in the longer term.

“So, if there is something there that can be done then we will look into that, but a lot needs to be done from now until the summer to see where he is with his fitness and we will go from there.

“He is a great character in the changing room and on the field and is someone that will help us achieve our goals at this club.”
