Former Valiants: Is winger on his way to Hartlepool?
A potential return to Vale Park for Jennison Myrie-Williams looks highly unlikely with the winger set to move to a League Two club.
Myrie-Williams was released by Scunthorpe earlier this summer and that has led to some speculation that the winger could be brought back if Mark Marshall leaves the club.
However, the Hartlepool Mail claims that Hartlepool United are in pole position to land the 28 year-old. Pools boss Ronnie Moore has indicated that the club is set to sign a winger and Myrie-Williams’ departure from Scunthorpe has been seen as no coincidence.
According to the Mail: “Myrie-Williams now being a free agent will interest Moore who missed out on him to Tranmere Rovers last season.”
