Fans want Campion and N’Guessan to start
A poll on the OVF website suggests that the majority of Port Vale supporters feel that striker Achille Campion deserves a starting place on Saturday.
Campion has been in fine form for the Vale reserves having followed up a hat-trick with a brace against neighbours Stoke City. But he has found his first-team chances limited and has notched up just nine minutes of action since joining the club in October.
Campion’s loan deal expires in the New Year and the Valiants are keen to extend his stay.
The striker himself is clearly keen to play and he told the Sentinel newspaper: “I would like to stay, but I want to play football in League One, I don’t want to play in the reserves.
“I have made sacrifices to play League One football, but it is okay, I understand the situation at Vale and I will keep working.”
N’Guessan and Campion to play?

- Achille Campion (96%)
- Dany N’Guessan (52%)
- Alex Nimely (29%)
- Ben Williamson (5%)
- Jordan Slew (4%)
