Smurthwaite wants fans’ views
Norman Smurthwaite has told the Sentinel that he would welcome contributions from fans on how the club should operate.
Smurthwaite told the newspaper: “I would like six representatives from around the stadium so I am getting non-political, direct feeling from our supporters of what we are doing well and what we aren’t.
“That would be six people from within the Port Vale fanbase and community.
It would be a fair reflection of people who are paying. It would be people who are contributing to the club, who love the club and are seriously engaged in the club…
“It would be a committee there with the ability to say what this club requires.
