Port Vale striker Tom Pope says he is hoping for a third round tie against a Premier League side after Vale overcame Salisbury in the FA Cup second round.
They are the games you live for and work hard for…
Speaking after the game, Pope said: “They are the games you live for and work hard for. I was lucky enough at Crewe to play at Anfield in the Carling Cup. It makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand in atmospheres like that, it is amazing.
“Hopefully we can get a decent Premier League Club, hopefully away, and the Vale fans can go in their numbers and have a decent day out.”
