Controversial Liverpool striker Luis Suarez took on a Port Vale reserve side in a friendly match at Melwood on Wednesday and the Uruguay striker scored in a 2-2 draw.
A Port Vale reserve team including Louis Dodds, Liam Chilvers, Chris Shuker and Ryan Lloyd took on a Liverpool XI in a closed-doors friendly at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground.
Suarez, who is banned from first-team action for three more games following his ten match ban for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, is eligible to play for Liverpool’s junior sides.
Suarez and Adam Morgan scored for the home side, Vale’s scorers are unknown at this time.
