Port Vale have announced that a block of the Bycars stand will become a “Temporary” family area while work on the Lorne Street stand continues.
Vale intend to make the uncompleted half of the Lorne Street stand into a family area but work on this is unable to start until work on the new club shop is completed. This is because the existing club shop takes up part of the concourse for the planned family stand area.
So, as a temporary measure, the club have announced that the block of the Bycars stand closest to the disabled stand will be the club’s new, temporary family area.
A club statement added: “This area will be a fun-focused and welcoming section of Vale Park to ensure that families enjoy magical moments when watching Vale.
“Supporters who have already purchased a Season Ticket in this area will be personally notified by a letter. This letter will include information regarding these changes and their Season Ticket along with contact details if they require any information regarding these exciting developments.
“If you are a Season Ticket holder and wish to move into this seating please contact the Ticket Office.
