Micky Adams: We must be positive
Micky Adams says he wants to get back-to-back victories to boost Vale’s promotion hopes but to do so the side have “got to be positive, show the same determination and get a result.”

Adams is looking to improve Vale’s home form and he told the Sentinel: “There’s no doubt about the importance of this game, and we need to set the tempo.
“That was key to winning last week and we want to start in the same vein.
“If you can start well, and perhaps get an early goal, then it settles everyone down.
“We want to put pressure on Aldershot, but we must keep a decent shape and remember that there are 90 minutes to win a game of football.
“Going to the bottom will have been a real gut-wrencher for them and they need wins now, not draws.
“Their best policy is to come here and look for all three points, but we want back-to-back victories to cement our place.
“Aldershot will be scrapping for their lives, but they’re bottom of the table for a reason.
“We’ve got to be positive, show the same determination and get a result.”
