Sonner extends Vale stay
The Valiants have agreed a deal with Peterborough United to keep midfielder Danny Sonner at Vale Park until the end of the season.
The experienced Northern Ireland International has been a great success during his five appearances for the Valiants, adding much needed nous to the Vale engine room.
The Wigan-born midfielder, out of favour at London Road, has now agreed to stay on until the end of the season with Martin Foyle’s side.
Sonner told the official Port Vale website: “I am delighted to be staying on. I am enjoying it here and I feel I have something to offer Port Vale.”
The midfielder added: “I am here until the end of the season now and that pleases me because I am enjoying it here. After that, I really don’t know but I certainly wouldn’t mind staying.”
