Team news
What will the Vale look like?
The addition of another two players on deadline day means Michael Brown has a massive squad to pick from despite the club’s injury list. Brown could potentially have to pick one from three in goal with Sam Hornby in possession in the League, Ryan Boot saving two penalties in the Football League Trophy and first-choice Rob Lainton (pictured) recovering from injury. It’s a different story upfront where just Tom Pope and youngster Dan Turner are fit for selection. Cristian Montano could face one of his former clubs.
What about the opposition?
It could be an interesting County side for Vale fans. Much-criticised defender Richard Duffy should be in the County backline and has been in impressive goalscoring form recently. However, the majority of jeers will be directed at Dan Jones (pictured) who left the club after a controversial incident with captain Doug Loft. Former skipper Carl Dickinson could also line up on the bench.

The last time we won at home against Notts County was in 2013. Jennison Myrie-Williams (right) and Gavin Tomlin scored in a 2-1 win for Vale on Boxing Day.
Ironically, the Vale team also featured Carl Dickinson and Richard Duffy who could both be lining up for the opposition on Saturday.
