Port Vale have announced the signing of winger Olamide Shodipo on loan until the end of the season.
A press release said:
We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Winger Olamide Shodipo from Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season.
The 19 year-old has been given his chance in the QPR first team this season, making 14 appearances, seven of which were starts.
He made his debut at the start of the 2016/17 season against Leeds United back on the 7th of August.
Olamide has become a feature in the Republic of Ireland under-21’s, earning two caps to add to the four he made for the under-19’s.
The winger was rewarded for his performances back in November when he signed a new contract up to the summer of 2019.
Shodipo is highly regarded by QPR and will be looking to show the Vale fans what he can be capable of.
Olamide will now link up with his new team mates and prepare for the upcoming game with Peterborough United this weekend.
