Time at club: 2001-2008
A talented goalkeeper whose promising career was brought to a premature end by injury.
Goodlad originally joined the club on a free transfer in 2000 and when the club’s senior keepers were released by the cash-strapped club, he was propelled into the first-choice jersey.
He scored a penalty in an LDV Vans Trophy clash against Chesterfield and he also played in the club’s 2001 LDV Vans Trophy final win over Brentford.
However, his latter years at the club were dogged by injury and he was forced to retire in 2008 aged just 28 years of age.
