Tom Morgan was both a player and manager for Port Vale FC. His playing career saw him make just five appearances before being forced to retire in 1911. He later had two spells as manager of Port Vale FC. His first spell from 1929 to 1933 included guiding the Valiants to promotion in 1930. He then had a second spell from 1937 to 1939. He later also had a spell as manager of Wrexham.
