The 1993-1994 Port Vale season was a successful one for the Valiants as it culminated in the club’s promotion to Division 1. Managed by legendary Valiants boss John Rudge, the Vale’s top-scorer that season was striker Martin Foyle. Other notable players that season were Paul Musselwhite, Dean Glover, Neil Aspin, Ian Taylor, Nicky Cross and Bernie Slaven. The Valiants were promoted in second place at the end of the season.
