Bradford Park Avenue turned around their recent poor form with a 3-2 home win over Hereford FC. Port Vale midfielder Alex Hurst started the game and it was his cross which set up Avenue’s second goal.
Draw for Joe Berks and Stafford Rangers
Port Vale midfielder Joe Berks came on at the interval as Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Stafford Rangers drew 1-1 away at Scarborough Athletic.
Curzon Ashton lose again
Port Vale midfielder Dan Trickett-Smith played 86 minutes of Curzon Ashton’s 1-0 home defeat to Blyth Spartans in the National League North.
Green-Birch plays as Market Drayton lose
Port Vale midfielder Lucas Green-Birch played as Market Drayton Town were unlucky 2-1 losers to Cambridge City. The opponents’ winning goal came via a deflection in the closing minutes.
Late change sees Campbell-Gordon left out
Port Vale defender Ryan Campbell-Gordon was originally named in the starting eleven for Ilkeston Town’s game against Bedworth Town but was withdrawn just before kick-off. Ilkeston lost 3-1 to their rivals.
