Port Vale goalkeeper has loan spell extended

Port Vale keeper Sam Hornby has had his loan spell at Chester FC extended until the end of the season.

Hornby has been at the club for two months having initially joined for a month on loan.

He has secured the goalkeeper’s jersey having made nine appearances for the National League side.

Hornby joined the club in the summer but has not featured for the first-team since September.
