Vale youngster James Gibbons signs long-term contract

Highly promising right-back James Gibbons has signed a new contract, the club has announced.

The 19 year-old locally-born youngster has progressed through the youth ranks and made his senior debut last season.

He broke into the first-team under new manager Neil Aspin and has impressed with some consistent performances as an attacking right-back.

Gibbons signed a one-year contract in the summer but has agreed a two-year extension to that deal.
