Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says the club could have three new players in place ahead of Saturday’s game with Scunthorpe United.
Smurthwaite added that he is not certain if the deals will be done in time for the game but he claims he is sure that the three players will sign for the club.
Vale are looking for a replacement for the departed JJ Hooper and Carlos Saleiro upfront and cover/competition for left-back Kiko who is recovering from injury.
