Port Vale chairman Norman Smurthwaite says that Shefki Kuqi is not on the shortlist to be the next Port Vale manager.
Sky Sports claimed that Kuqi was in talks with the club to become the new manager but Smurthwaite has tweeted to say that the claims are simply not true.
In response to a tweet, Smurthwaite tweeted to “not always believe what you read” and that Kuqi was “not on shortlist ”
