The Hayters news agency says a “host of clubs” are interested in signing transfer-listed Port Vale goalkeeper Marko Marosi.
Rumours
A reminder on our Port Vale rumours features. These stories have been reported elsewhere on the web and are not started by OVF nor necessarily believed by us. We have published themselves because we think they are of interest but readers should remember that the vast majority of rumours never come to fruition – so treat these claims with caution!
The keeper was one of four players transfer listed by manager Jon Brady with Jordan Shipley and Ruari Paton having already secured moves.
Marosi was signed in the summer of 2025 but had a disastrous season – first losing his place to loanee Joe Gauci and then dropping to third choice when Ben Amos regained fitness. He made just seven appearances in a Vale shirt although he did enjoy regular football on loan at Tranmere Rovers where he made sixteen appearances.
Hayters claim that “A host of League One and League Two clubs are keen on Port Vale goalkeeper Marko Marosi. The 32-year-old goalkeeper is still under contract at Vale but has been listed as available for transfer by the club.”
