Port Vale to face Wolves in the League Cup

Port Vale will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, relegated to the Championship at the end of last season, in the first round of the League Cup.

The Valiants last faced Wolves in a competitive fixture back in 2014 when they played each other in League One.

Vale also played Wolves U21 in the Football League Trophy during the 2024/25 season.

All round one ties will be played the weekend of 8th August 2026.
