Recent signing George Hall says he’s almost at full match sharpness after impressing in recent appearances for the club.
After signing in January, Hall was initially held back by manager Darren Moore as he said that “no-one wanted to see a half-cooked George Hall”. That hasn’t been the case in recent games with the former Birmingham City man impressing the Port Vale fans.
Hall told the club’s PVTV media team he’s now “Almost there. (It was my) first full game in a while and I’ve just got to build on that now. I’ve settled in quite quick.”
Hall was also quick to praise the Valiants support adding “It’s massive knowing you’ve got the support of the fans.”
He also thinks his versatility is an asset saying: “I feel I can play in a lot of positions. I think I’m quite fit so it helps out a lot. We’ve got a great squad and we know we can go to different game styles.”
The midfielder also thinks competition for places is helping the players concluding: “It keeps you on your toes.”
