Port Vale manager Darren Moore was pleased with his side’s performance after their home draw with Cardiff on Thursday evening.
The Valiants were unlucky not to record a win after creating a number of chances but had to settle for a point.
Moore told the media: “I think it was a really good performance from the team. We got it right. If there was one small critique, and I mean small, it was the final third when we got into those threatening areas.
“If we create chances like that, on another night we would have got a goal or two. We were the team in the ascendancy and the one creating chances.
“Credit to the boys for nullifying an excellent team like Cardiff. There will be areas where we can learn from tonight.”

Much better performance from the entire team. If VAR was in place Clark’s goal would have stood, the Linesman should have gone to Specsavers! One note of concern, where are the goals going to come from? On that showing Vale should hopefully push forward and produce consistent performances which will hopefully secure our league one status. Keep the faith, Up the Vale
