Port Vale transfer rumour: Valiants linked with goalkeeper

According to the Football Insider website, Port Vale are linked to an Aston Villa goalkeeper.

The link seems somewhat unlikely as Vale already have two senior keepers in Ben Amos and recent addition Marko Marosi plus youngster Arron Davies.

According to Football Insider:

Port Vale and Blackpool are readying bids for Aston Villa goalkeeper Filip Marschall, sources have told Football Insider.

The 22-year-old spent the last season in League Two with Crewe Alexandra, having previously had stints with MK Dons and Gateshead.

League One duo Port Vale and Blackpool are interested in either loan or permanent deals for Marschall as they look to bolster their goalkeeping options before the start of the new season.
