Port Vale signed experienced goalkeeper Marko Marosi on a free transfer in the summer of 2025. The former Slovakia U21 International agreed a two year deal.

Marosi has extensive League One experience after spells with Cambridge United, Shrewsbury Town, Coventry City and Doncaster Rovers.

He made his full debut in the 2-1 loss to Rotherham United in August 2025. However, he lost his starting place after just seven games. He had more success at Tranmere Rovers where he played sixteen games on loan. He was transfer listed in the summer of 2026.
