A much better performance, Vale struggled to get hold of the ball in the first 15 minutes and it looked like Blackpool would be too strong for us in the middle of the Park. The big difference for me was Uche and Wilson who both kept the Blackpool defence busy which allowed vale to play further up the pitch . The 2 young lads, Lomax and Shorrock both played well and added some much needed energy to the Vale performance. More of the same in the forthcoming fixtures will see Vale safe for another season. It will be interesting to see who we bring in, no doubt if a player comes in and makes an impact Flitcroft will take the credit if not he will remain anonymous. Keep the faith.

I thought Blackpool were a good side but last night we conquered, its nice to go home with a smile ,isn’t it strange that results seem to go well when massey isn’t playing look at the record ,well done to the young lads Uchi was really good ,device we will miss if he gets recalled fantastic player ,Ripley had one of his better games ,and Wilson was Wilson of old he played really well ,then the subs come on and we lost some passion,,great win
