Former Port Vale manager and club legend Neil Aspin is reportedly one of the leading contenders for the vacant FC Halifax Town manager’s post.
On Monday the club announced that:
FC Halifax Town manager Jamie Fullarton has resigned from his job with the National League club.
The 44-year-old former Notts County boss had been in charge at The Shay since February 2018 and guided them to a 16th-place finish in the National League last season.
Aspin left the Valiants in January after a poor run of form and is named as one of the leading contenders for the role by the local press.
The former Vale defender won three promotions with Halifax during six years with the club. He also unearthed strikers Jamie Vardy and Lee Gregory.
