Port Vale management talks on Monday?
The Sentinel newspaper says that Port Vale’s hierarchy will hold talks about who is to be the club’s new manager.
Owner Norman Smurthwaite has claimed that a new man will be in charge by the weekend and that he had three candidates for the role.
It is believed that Smurthwaite, CEO Colin Garlick and chairman Tony Fradley will meet to discuss the contenders.
The newspaper says that Gateshead manager Neil Aspin and former Vale player/manager Brian Horton could be among the contenders for the position.
