Port Vale boss Neil Aspin was named as the week’s best manager across the whole of the Football League.
The EFL site produces a “team of the week” from the three Football League divisions and this time it had the Port Vale manager as the League’s best boss.
The website added: “Port Vale’s resurgence under new boss Neil Aspin continued on Saturday, as his Valiants side emerged 1-0 victors in an away encounter at Exeter City to climb up to 21st in Sky Bet League Two. Tom Pope scored the only goal of the game at St James Park, making it six in four, in what was Aspin’s third successive win as Vale manager.”
