Port Vale will hold another fanzone initiative ahead of Crewe game

Port Vale have announced there will be the continuation of their fanzone ahead of the opening home game with Wycombe Wanderers.

It’s a great idea to encourage young fans and good relations between fans of opposing clubs.

OVF editor Rob Fielding and son Fred, a member of the Junior Valiants, attended the first fanzone of the season and can recommend it to all.

A press release at the start of the season describes the venture as:

Port Vale Foundation Trust have dedicated an area outside the Academy for families of home and away fans prior to kick off.

We will have face painting, inflatable games, plus the sports hall will be open for a kick about.

It’s an ideal opportunity for you to collect your Junior Valiants Membership Cards too. All activities for only one pound!

Fanzone opens at 1:30 and will remain open until 10 minutes before kick-off. Freshly made popcorn and candy floss will be available on the day.

We look forward to seeing you there!
