Michael Brown praises Port Vale team spirit
Interim manager Michael Brown has said that his players are “doing the right things” and that their “spirit” pleased him.
Vale are now in the relegation zone after the draw with Bristol Rovers but Brown is confident that Vale can escape the drop zone.
He told the Sentinel: “The boys are doing the right things and taking it on board. The spirit pleased me and the work ethic and desire not to concede goals. Yes we did, we switched off and he has scored a worldie from 25 yards.
“We should get there to block that, but sometimes you have to hold your hands up, when they hit them that well, you are struggling.”
