Forrester hits a hat-trick as Vale reserves thrash Wrexham
Striker Anton Forrester found the target three times as Port Vale reserves thumped Wrexham 6-0.
Forrester was named as part of a strong Vale reserve team which also included Kiko, Chris Eagles and Sam Foley who was returning from injury.
Forrester gave Vale the lead after four minutes before Foley made it 2-0 on 23 minutes. Two minutes later another from Forrester made it 3-0 and on 42 minutes the striker completed his hat-trick. Vale then made it 5-0 at the break when Eagles scored.
Foley was rested at the interval but Vale continued to dominate and Forrester set up substitute Barton to made it 6-0 on 56 minutes. The striker was then subbed minutes later and Vale held on to record a comfortable victory.
